What am I?
One of my ongoing projects is shooting the patterns in raw fruits/vegetables. I thought this was very pretty and dainty and would possibly like some wallpaper made out of it. The design, not the actual vegetable. Can you guess what it is?

Don't cry, but..
Well, not much to say about this today. I shot a red onion this morning, and I think it looks pretty cool, so there.
It was either the onion or my shoes. Don't get too excited, but maybe tomorrow you'll luck out and get a pic of my favorite converse.

Autumn food!

One of my favorite things to do is cook. One of my commercial clients is Organics to You. They have changed the way I eat! Getting fresh organic produce delivered to your door weekly is one of the best things that I could ever do for my body. It inspires me to cook and create recipes and share food with friends. I plan on photographing some of my creations and posting them here. I recently made this Potato Leek soup. So simple and tasty! Although high in those carbs so eat it in moderation!
Boil about 4 largish gold potatoes
Saute 1 leek and 1 smallish onion
Blend potatoes, leek mixture, a little half and half, and chicken broth.
Re-heat and add some freshly grated Parmesan.
Top with fresh chives, fresh cracked pepper and some 'fancy' salt.
Yumm!
